AGA of the AIEQ the 4th of June 2026

We invite you to save the date for the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will take place on the morning of June 4, followed by a networking lunch at Hôtel Monville. In addition to reviewing the 2025–2026 year and the various activities carried out within the electrical industry, elections for board directors will also be held.

During the Special Board Meeting held on May 4, 2026, it was unanimously decided to clarify three voting categories for the 18 Board seats, as follows:

  • A category for Client/Utility Directors – HQ: 2 nominated directors
  • A category for Partner Directors: MP – 8 seats, including 2 vacancies
  • A category for Partner and Member Directors: PA & MA – 8 seats, including 1 vacancy

Representatives of AIEQ member companies are invited to submit their applications starting today, along with a cover letter and résumé, no later than May 28, 2026, by contacting: [email protected] directly.

 

INDIVIDUAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS SOUGHT:

Members of the Board of Directors must individually demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

  • Management skills, including management experience relevant to the role of director, as well as a recognized ability to understand complex issues comparable to those faced by Hydro-Québec;

  • Communication skills;
  • Leadership and influence.
